Review by thelot

thelot Another beautiful audience recording available for Night 2.

Trey dedicates the first song of the evening to Dave. They get right into it with a Reba opener. A well played yet standard version. Nice versions of Foam and Esther. Rippin’ ‘paug with a spunky Mike intro. Eliza provided a nice cool down before rockin’ La Grange set closer.

Golgi>Magilla pair nicely to open Set 2. Stash was flawless, as is the Forbin>Mockingbird that follows. Rock solid YEM all the way through. The vocals on the Highway to Hell set closer sound a bit strained. The Whipping Post encore has a really nice short but sweet second jam. The band walked offstage without saying their typical goodnight monologue. Both nights of Somerville are absolutely flawless. The audio is top notch as well for both nights. Thanks again to John Redmond for getting it done!
